Medusa (Original Piece, A3)

£120.00

“Can a monster be beautiful if it is still terrifying?
Perhaps it depends on how you experience fear and judge beauty.”
-
Natalie Haynes, Stone Blind.

This hand cut piece was inspired by a read of Stone Blind by the incredible Natalie Haynes (a feminist retelling of the story of Medusa).

Cut by hand from a single sheet of beautifully textured G F Smith paper in Slate, this piece measures approximately 39cm x 28cm (to fit within an A3 frame).

It is currently unmounted, but can be bought either as is, or I can adhere it onto white A3 paper for no additional cost.

Please be aware that due to the nature of papercut artwork, technical “imperfections” may exist.
